Welcome to the Christmas Project

Before we get started -thanks to everyone who has supported us over the past four years, your donations have made real, tangible differences (see projects).

The Christmas project aims to enable people to think about the real meaning of Christmas - not pressies, food (yum yum, buuurp) or even (shock, horror!!) family.

Of course all these things are good, but we think Christmas calls us to more than coo over a cute baby in a manger. Christmas calls us to love one another just like God loves us. What did he do at Christmas? He sent his son to be with us, to share our pains, to know what it was like to be human, and ultimately to die because of his love for us. So this Christmas instead of getting those very very expensive straighteners (when your hair is beautiful curly) or that PS2, ask your mum/dad/gran/uncle etc for some money and give some, if not all of it, to the Christmas Project. Perhaps our projects are not what you have a passion for, so instead do the same thing, but send the money to a charity of your choice. Ultimately, experience what God experienced at Christmas - sacrifice.
