Origins....

It all started around seven years ago when a young man made a trip to Brazil. There he realised that not everyone in this world lived as he and his friends did back home. Coming home from this trip he decided that at christmas he would give rather than recieve. So instead of getting a lot of presents he gave the money to the project he worked with in Brazil. Some of his friends got to hear of this and decided to do the same the next year and so the christmas project was born.

We don't claim to be the first to do this nor do we claim to be super human in our love for other people, we simply recognise that in this end of the world we have a whole lot while others suffer. Yes it's a sacrifice, but really it's only a little one.

I feel that it should also be noted here that it has always been a principle of the christmas project that all the money that you give goes to the projects. None of your money will pay for overhead costs (eg: bank, website or publicity charges) unless you state that you want to contribute in that way. These charges are met by the management.
